THE UNIT:
Welcome home to Silver Creek unit 2209, your home away from home and a charming place to spend your next Snowshoe Mountain vacation getaway!
This studio is on the second floor, sleeps six people, and is in Silver Creek Lodge, home of the legendary night skiing, 3 of the best terrain parks, and the Coca-Cola Tube Park. When you stay in Silver Creek, you’ll enjoy shorter lift lines, later mid-week rope drops, and a complimentary shuttle to and from the main mountain!
Silver Creek 2209 features a kitchen that is fully stocked with all the basics you'll need to prepare, cook, and serve a delicious meal. Within the cozy space, you’ll find plateware, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, range, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and toaster. There is a kitchen island, with seating for four people, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, or a delicious meal.
Or, if you’re tired of preparing your own meals, consider a short stroll to the various dining options right in the building: 1) the Locker Room, where you can eat, drink, watch sports, play games, and enjoy live music during certain nights and 2) the Bear’s Den, featuring lunch and dinner options that include wood-fired oven pizzas, burgers, and more. Please note the Bear’s Den is only open during the ski season and the Locker Room has limited open hours during the summer season.
Wake up refreshed each morning in the queen bed which features ample storage underneath, or enjoy the full IKEA sectional sofa where you can cozy up next to the electric fireplace during cold nights. For additional sleeping capacity, the property also features mini twin bunk beds (75” L x 30” W) with privacy curtains and storage drawers underneath.
Your housekeeping package includes clean linens (flat sheets and pillowcases) plus an additional setup for the sleeper sofa, bathroom linens (towel and washcloths for each person the condo has the capacity to sleep), a bathmat, a dish towel, toilet paper, trash bags, bar soap, liquid dishwashing soap (for hand-washing dishes), and powdered dishwasher detergent (for the dishwashing machine). Neither paper towels nor coffee filters will be provided!!

THE RESORT:
At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find an activity to keep all your family members happy.
● Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and 5 terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, try out other activities such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, Polaris RZR tours, snowmobile tours, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and the Snowshoe spa, to name a few.
● Summer – Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails at your disposal. Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, relaxing by Shavers Lake, etc.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
● Please be courteous and considerate of the other guests and abide by the quiet hours from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM.
● Party away on the mountain or at a local restaurant. But, please, no parties in the condo.
● If you need additional accommodations, please ask me about my other condos in the Snowshoe Mountain Resort.
PETS: While we absolutely adore our furry friends and wish you could bring them with you, unfortunately, the building is not pet-friendly, so we have to insist you find alternative accommodations for your pets. However, if you have a certified Service Animal, let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate you.
EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note we cannot guarantee anything earlier than a 5:00 PM check-in. Mountain Lodge may be able to accommodate your request for an earlier check-in as long as the previous Renter has departed by 11:00 AM and the housekeeping team is not short-staffed. On extremely busy days or holiday weekends, we appreciate your patience if our staff is running behind in cleaning and resetting the condos.
LATE CHECK-OUT: Unfortunately, these are not possible. If you’d like a late checkout so you can enjoy all the mountain has to offer, we’re happy to book you for another night, if this or any of our other properties is available.
PARKING: Your reservation includes a parking pass so you can park for free at the Silver Creek Lodge.

Cancellation Policy
EDH strongly recommends Guests secure traveler’s insurance from a third-party provider to mitigate the risk of losing some or all of the payment resulting from an unanticipated need to cancel or alter the reservation. Some travel credit cards offer coverage of this sort. Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel or alter the dates of their reservation at least 30 days before check-in. Guests who cancel or alter at least 14 days before check-in will receive a refund of 50% for all nights. Guests who cancel or alter fewer than 14 days before check-in will not receive a refund.
Deposit Policy
EDH does not charge a security deposit in advance of occupancy. However, EDH will charge Guests after the fact for maintenance and repairs resulting from any damage caused to – and for replacement of any items that disappear from – the Property during their occupancy. The Guest agrees to pay all reasonable costs, attorney fees, and expenses that shall be made or incurred by the Landlord during the enforcement of this agreement.

Tim’s AirBNB acted as the perfect pit stop for my family. It’s nestled in the woods but with close proximity to the Village in case you need to make a coffee or food run. Make sure to get the parking pass before you arrive as internet can be spotty on the roads (this info can get lost in the wall of text we were sent).

We loved Tim’s place! The studio was set up very well. Our kids loved the bunk beds, and decorative lights they could change the colors to. There were plenty of electrical outlets, which is hard to find in some units. The kitchen was well stocked- the best we have ever experienced. It had everything we could need without having too much.

We can not say enough great things about our stay at Tim's silver creek ! When we first arrived, we did have to ask for a new set of sheets on the bunk beds but Tim was very prompt and had someone deliver and even offer to remake the beds for us- we both slept in the queen which was already super clean. The added soft furry blankets were sooooo cozy and needed since we didn't think to bring our own and the beds were amazing! There were so many special touches and everything was extremely well-stocked. There were a bunch of things not included in the listing, including tupperware, tons of spices, crockpots and other cooking equipment, ipad holders above the bunk beds with string lights, and so much more!! The hot tubs were amazing and there was a ton of storage! It was the perfect romantic getaway for couples and it was made even more special when my fiance proposed on our trip! It is about 2 miles for the main village with resturants but there is a restuarent in the lodge with tons of elevators and hotel carts. We will definitely come back! Our favorite resturant was Foxfire grille- this was some of the best food we've had that rivaled resturants with menus twice the price. Thanks for a wonderful retreat!

Some good and some not great things about our experience, as we did encounter a couple issues during a very brief stay.
First the good—This space was VERY clean and Tim was very responsive to troubleshoot our issues. And when I inquired about a discount for our troubles, he did oblige and refund a small part of our payment.
Now, the not great—The lock on the door was not functioning when we arrived late in the night and we weren’t able to confirm it until the next morning, causing us not to be able to leave our unit with our things safely inside. Tim and the maintenance staff were quick to help troubleshoot it, but hopefully they resolve this fully prior to new guests arriving.
Also, the a/c in this unit is a portable plug-in floor machine that didn’t quite cool the small space despite our weather being in the 60’s. I can only speculate that this may be in due to the fact that the building overall was very humid/warm inside the hallways. However, it made for less comfortable nights of sleep and was extremely loud.
Overall, it was just not quite what we had hoped for as we payed more than double the usual summer rate since we happened to need the rental during a music festival weekend. We were there to attend a wedding up the mountain and had friends staying at the main lodge/inn (Corduroy Inn) at a similar rate in MUCH nicer conditions.

This was a great little place for my husband and I and our two kids. Very cute and well setup. Tim was great with communication and very responsive. Checkin and checkout was easy and seamless. Had a little issue with the housekeeping that was done prior to our arrival but he reached back out to us immediately and made the effort to make it right and assured us it would be addressed. Tim is thorough and provides lots of info and resources about how to make the most of your stay in Snowshoe and the surrounding area. Lots to do!

Nice location. I like to night ride most so staying at silver creek is preferred for me. You can take one flight of stairs down, right by the room and your out of the building at the top of the slopes. There is a nice indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs there is also a sauna which I don’t recall it being mentioned..which is extremely nice having. …the locker room bar n grill is right below you for food n drinks. And two stores with souvenirs and snacks and refreshments as well. …During select hours “weekday hour suck” there a lil hangout spot about the locker room that has pool tables. Cornhole. mechanical bull etc…. Prettty cool weekend spot All in all this has been my favorite spot Over the last couple years
