My goal is to provide customers low-cost lodging at Silver Creek while ensuring a comfortable vacation. My low price guarantee is valid from mid-March through the first weekend of skiing. I'll beat any verifiable, comparable Silver Creek offer during those dates. I have additional condos if this one is booked.
Snowshoe Resort is a year-round vacation resort. In the winter, you can enjoy 60 different ski slopes, three terrain parks, tubing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. After the slopes close you can stroll through the Village's restaurants, shops, kids’ entertainment zone, nightclub, full-service spa, and a teen center for those 20 years old and younger. Silver Creek is a part of the Snowshoe Resort, but physically separate from the Snowshoe Village. It is connected by a free bus system and is about a mile from the Village. You can get lift tickets for the entire resort, or only for the Silver Creek slopes. Silver Creek has the only tubing runs and the only night skiing.
In the summer you can plan on a significantly cooler climate in the mountains where you can hike, geo-cache, lounge at the mountain lake, mountain bike, fish, paddle-boat, shoot sporting clays, ride RAZR 4-wheelers, or golf at Raven Golf Course. There is a climbing wall and Euro-bungee right in the Village! Year-round you can sightsee and swim, or drive off the resort to see live theater or ride on the Cass historic train. Activities and time tables change annually, so double-check with Snowshoe to ensure the activities you want will be available when you plan to be there.
The Silver Creek lodge is a Ski In/Ski Out complex about a mile from the Snowshoe Village, with its own private parking lot (free to Silver Creek guests) and amenities. The Silver Creek ski slopes and tubing run (a great alternative to the slopes) are right outside the building, and Snowshoe offers ski rentals, lift ticket sales, and adventure sales right in the building, as well as ski school just outside on the slopes. The Bear's Den features games and food for family fun. Amenities include an indoor pool/hot tub and a Sports Bar (food/drink). Your condo at Silver Creek is within walking distance of the shuttle, which takes you to the Village and basin ski slopes, giving you outstanding access to all 60 slopes. On the ground floor, you’ll find a lobby with several small tables. Silver Creek common areas and condos each have their own dedicated wi-fi. Silver Creek is one of the few buildings on the mountain with on-site maintenance, just in case. The mild weather most of the summer at the top of the mountain allows for the lack of air conditioning in the building and in most condos. Despite this, some condos do have interior air conditioning. Please check the condo’s amenities for details. Unless otherwise coordinated, your housekeeping fee includes an initial set-up of linens, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, bath soap, coffee filters, and facial tissues. Replacements and/or additional supplies are available upon request.
You’ll have a spacious Silver Creek studio condo that easily sleeps three on a Murphy Bed and a twin sleeper sofa (which pulls out of a loveseat). The kitchen is well-stocked with glassware, plateware, silverware, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and toaster, so you can bring food to eat-in. This condo has its own full bathroom and has a TV with cable and DVD player, as well as a dinner table with chairs for three. You can rent videos at Wildcat Provisions. You will enjoy free parking in the Silver Creek parking lot and free access to the indoor/outdoor pool and jacuzzi right there in the building. Please note this unit has a standalone AC unit that is only available in the summer months.
Your cell phone may not work in and around Snowshoe Mountain. The area east of the mountain is a quiet zone due to the Green Bank National Radio Astronomy Observatory. As of 2015, AT&T has service at the resort, but not down the mountain to the east. Your GPS will work everywhere, but don’t count on your phone working (voice or data).

Great little room with amenities for what you need. We weren’t in the room much and since it was small that’s perfect! The toaster and kitchenette are a little dated but work fine.
great value!
Tim is top notch. we are repeat customers. communication is excellent. this place is small. description is correct. I would recommend it for a couple. maybe tight for more but sleep accommodations are accurate as well. to get to the village we were able to use the shuttle which provides very good hours for the time we needed it.
perfect little room. everything you'd need
This place was perfect for me as a cyclist looking for a comfortable place to shower and sleep before and after riding in Snowshoe. Thank you!
Nice set up!
Perfectly advertised. Easy and convenient from start to finish. I would say it’s perfect for 2 but can sleep 4 if needed. Cute little studio right next to the Silver Creek slope entrance. My only compliant is you can somewhat hear the rooms around you…but seems to be the age of the building. It was perfect for the weekend.
This place was perfect for us. Tim was responsive and helpful with everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay and will 100% rent with him again!
The place was clean and spacious, and situated very close to the ski lift. Tim was very prompt with communication. The whole stay was fun and easy!
Nice little place for the weekend. Easy access to tubing and silver creek trails.
Great place to stay. Lived up to expectations. Excellent location for skiing/snowboarding.
The place was great for our weekend getaway! Lots of kid activities in the lodge. East slope side access. Tim was great! Very helpful and quick to respond.
Nice room for quick ski trip
Awesome location, very accommodating, would definitely stay here again!
Tim's unit was clean and well appointed. Space is not large, but everything that you would need is available.
Great little studio right at Silver Creek! This location has all you need for a great weekend ski trip. Tim was great at communicating and the space was as expected. The free bus to Snowshoe village or anywhere you’d like to go in the area picks up right out front every 15 minutes, so once you park your car in the free lot you don’t have to worry about driving around and finding parking until you’re ready to leave
Would recommend to anyone
This is a small studio unit that delivers just as described. We arrived to a clean and well-appointed unit that served us perfectly. We were one adult and two teen-aged boys who spent most of our time on the slopes and eating out, when we were there it was mostly just to warm up, take advantage of the amenities (in particular hot tubs and sauna), and sleep. Communications with Tim were easy, the guidance he provided clear, and he was responsive to questions. All in all we recommend this condo to other looking for an economical accommodation.
Great place!!!
I booked this room because I so wanted to enjoy a white Christmas with my Son (we don't ski but hoped we could snowmobile or tube). It was very pricey with all the fees included but I figured we have so few holidays so why not? The pictures didn't show much so I perused through the reviews which were very positive. Now I am left perplexed as to why. The room is tiny, especially when you pull the queen murphy bed down and expand the sofa bed. There is barely room to walk. My adult Son and I were constantly bumping into one another so it's hard to imagine how some have 4 in this room. If you put the bed up for more room, there isn't any comfortable seating for 2 adults to kick back and watch TV. There is the small sofa for one to lay on and one chair but you can't put your feet up and relax on that. The furnishings and kitchen are really outdated and for us, the worst part was the lack of updated amenities in the room. Being that it was Christmas, we wanted to watch all of our favorite holiday movies but there is only a TV with very few channels available. There is no guide on the remote so you have to just channel up and down to see what's on at that moment. I asked my host Tim about a DVD player and he was so kind to find me a new one and installed it for me. However, I then realized my favorite movie I brought was a bluray. If the TV was a smart TV with streaming I could have watched it and other movies through one of my subscriptions but that wasn't an option. The only reason this was important was because we spent a good deal of time in the room not being there to ski, and because the weather was awful... rain, wind, no visability. If you won't be in this room but to sleep I suppose it would be OK, but if not, I would try to find a larger and more comfortable space. Also, the pictures made it look as if there was some kind of view from this room but there is not. That was a huge disappointment for me also. If I would have had a window where I saw the fake snow on the slopes that would have made all the difference, somewhat making up for the lack of ambience in this room.
About Snowshoe, be warned that it is REALLY expensive. If you are on a budget, please do yourself a favor and pick up groceries on your way in. I wish I would have but assumed the village had a grocery store. The only one in the village is tiny and was wiped out. They didn't even have kraft dinner or American cheese! There wasn't anything edible there to prepare for a dinner so we were forced to eat out and spend a crazy amount of money on food. Starbucks was $28 for a latte, hot cocoa, breakfast sandwich and 2 muffins. And if you like to drink wine like I do, bring it with. I went to the small wine store in the village where wine is marked up at least 50% above retail. I spent $1000 for 2 nights here and could have used that money to stay at a posh hotel and ordered room service 3 meals a day. I get that prices are high because it's a ski in/out condo but if you aren't there for that reason, it's a total budget buster for a weekend getaway. There is nothing to do here except snow sports and eat. The shops are all related to snow sports and also really pricey. I had high hopes for this trip so I'm very sad because the weather forced us to stay indoors most of the time and the room was just downright depressing.
Great value for its location. Tim is a great host.
The location for this room was amazing. Pretty small, but if you're staying to ski/board like we were it's not like you're at the room much anyway. Kitchen was well stocked. Space was clean. The bed however, not comfy. We were very sore all mornings which didn't help the soreness from being on the mountain. With that being said, the value for the place is still amazing and we would still stay again.
Really enjoyed the stay!
This is great place for stay for a small family(4 adult could easily stay with one queen bed and one sofa cum bed) very close to snowshoe. We stayed for 4 days and had amazing time. Tim was nice and communicated well.
Condo was small but had everything we needed. Clean and conveniently located in Snowshoe.
Everything went well.
The place was exactly as expected and Tim was a great host. I would definitely book again.
Wonderful place in wonderful country. It fits 2 people comfortably. My family of 4 stayed and it was cramped, but only for one night so it didn’t bother us too much. The pool was awesome. It was half outside and half inside. Nice hot tubes outside and inside. During the summer months all restaurants and stores are closed within the building.
Great to work with!
Tim's place is a great place to stay. Great location, hot tub, pool, bar and maybe even more. We would definitely rent his place again. Has everything you need. Very clean and beds were comfortable.
Literally a blast from the past! Tim thank you again for being a fabulous host! My family and I had the best time!! You condo was surprisingly clean, and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again! Again thanks for the lovely hospitality and for lending us your property for the weekend!
Great location and perfect room!!
Nice place. Clean, comfortable, good communication.
Good location. The Murphybed was surprisingly comfortable as I was expecting a sofa bed type experience. The price was right for a studio. The kitchen was complete with all pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.
