THE UNIT:
Welcome home to Silver Creek 5606, a unique seventies-inspired home away from home that will become your “go to” place for all your Snowshoe Mountain vacations!
Take a nostalgic trip down memory lane! Enjoy preparing and eating your meals in the sleek and modern kitchen with butcher block countertops. This kitchen will leave you wanting for nothing.
Feeling groovy? Kick back in the stylishly comfortable living room. And, if you’re feeling a little nostalgic, fix yourself a martini by the bar while you put some records on the retro turntable. Rod Stewart, REO Speedwagon, or Chicago? Yes, please! Choose from one of the many vinyl record collections and remember the 70’s, the decade of bell bottoms, pet rocks, and disco!
When it’s time to hit the sack, head to the fresh and chic bedrooms, with a balance of retro and modern. The master bedroom features a king bed with an electric fireplace and a modern en suite bathroom. The second bedroom, also with a modern en suite bathroom, is on the opposite side of the property, has a queen bed, a full over full bunk bed, and a desk for all your computer needs.

THE RESORT:
At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find an activity to keep all your family members happy.
Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and 5 terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, try out other activities such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, Polaris RZR tours, snowmobile tours, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and the Snowshoe spa, to name a few.
Summer – Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails at your disposal. Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, relaxing by Shavers Lake, etc.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Please be courteous and considerate of the other guests and abide by the quiet hours from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM.
Party away on the mountain or at a local restaurant. But, please, no parties in the condo.
If you need additional accommodations, please ask me about my other properties on the Snowshoe Mountain Resort.
PETS: While we absolutely adore our furry friends and wish you could bring them with you, unfortunately, the building is not pet-friendly, so we have to insist you find alternative accommodations for your pets. However, if you have a certified Service Animal, let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate you.
EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note we cannot guarantee anything earlier than a 5:00 PM check-in. We may be able to accommodate your request for an earlier check-in as long as the previous Guest has departed by 11:00 AM and the housekeeping team is not short-staffed. On extremely busy days or holiday weekends, we appreciate your patience if our staff is running behind in cleaning and resetting the condos.
LATE CHECK-OUT: Unfortunately, these are not possible. If you’d like a late checkout so you can enjoy all the mountain has to offer, we’re happy to book you for another night, if this or any of our other properties is available.
PARKING: Your reservation includes a parking pass so you can park for free at the Silver Creek Lodge.

Cancellation Policy
EDH strongly recommends Guests secure traveler’s insurance from a third-party provider to mitigate the risk of losing some or all of the payment resulting from an unanticipated need to cancel or alter the reservation. Some travel credit cards offer coverage of this sort. Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel or alter the dates of their reservation at least 30 days before check-in. Guests who cancel or alter at least 14 days before check-in will receive a refund of 50% for all nights. Guests who cancel or alter fewer than 14 days before check-in will not receive a refund.
Deposit Policy
EDH does not charge a security deposit in advance of occupancy. However, EDH will charge Guests after the fact for maintenance and repairs resulting from any damage caused to – and for replacement of any items that disappear from – the Property during their occupancy. The Guest agrees to pay all reasonable costs, attorney fees, and expenses that shall be made or incurred by the Landlord during the enforcement of this agreement.

The condo was great, beautiful views from the balcony, and beautiful area. Tim was also very responsive, as the keycards to the hot tub/pool did not work and he made sure that replacement keys were walked up to the room the next morning, *and* gave us a free late checkout so that the kids could use the pool. Really enjoyed our time there!

Tim was very responsive when we had a slight issue getting into our room, No fault of his at all. Very close to the village and easy to take the shuttle back and forth to ski. We went very late in the season so not much open at the lodge but had a bar and served great food. We personally liked the late season because it wasn't busy at all and no lines but just know that some places may be closed. That was OK with us! We had a great trip and will return to stay at Tim's.

Instructions that were sent were too detailed. Had some hassle during checkin as we were unnecessarily directed to Allegheny springs after reaching the property. This was sorted out after we called the host. Everything else from there on was smooth. Overall, we had a nice time there as the place had almost everything required to make our stay comfortable.
