Nice mountain retreat

We had a great time here. Iota very isolated for the most part and we loved the pool and hot tub. You wont get cell services but we just put GPS in before we left. We loved it so much I'm trying to move to WV. Thank you.

Nice place to stay for the night for my family. Would try to make clear that the bunk bed and queen bed are in the same bedroom. Aside from that was a nice stay.

We had a great stay and great experience with the host. The day before our trip they alerted us to a (very minor) maintenance issue and gave us the option to have it repaired during our visit or to stay uninterrupted. I really appreciate the communication and flexibility. Not to mention the property was exactly as described.

Our stay was great - very convenient! Just make sure you bring along paper towels & coffee filters. Luckily the coffee shop downstairs is delicious!!

Exactly as described! Slept our family of 5 easily. Well stocked kitchen including knives, food storage containers and pots and pans. Great water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. We couldn't figure out the heat and fireplace and the owners were very responsive.

Location was also a plus. The Silver Creek slopes are right outside the door as is the bus stop for the rest of Snowshoe.

It was exactly as described. Owners answered all of our questions and were super helpful. The unit was not far from the elevator, which we liked, since my wife is going through cancer. Also, the tubing was located right outside of the building, super convenient. We didn't try any of the on-site restaurants, but I can vouch for the bakery downstairs, excellent.

This condo is a great place to stay, especially if you plan on night skiing! it's a little tight with 6 adults , but we made it work with the pull out couch! Would definitely rent from EDH rentals again!

We liked our stay. The place was a good value and matched the pictures and descriptions. Host was responsive and nice. It was a bit tight for our family of 5 and taking trash to the designated place was a pain but all was as represented. We loved the location for easy night skiing. The building is a bit dated but the unit was nice. All appliances worked and we had everything needed to cook meals. The heated pool and hot tub were great. We would stay there again. Thank you!

This stay was exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were proactive and provided everything we needed prior to arrival. The condo was well equipped with all the essentials. The location was excellent. We enjoyed watching football at the on-site Locker Room restaurant and appreciated being able to walk to the Silver Creek slopes. The free parking and easy access to the complimentary shuttle were added bonuses. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location- perfect for skiing at both Snowshoe and Silver Creek. Loved that there was a bar/restaurant in the building! Apartment was clean and ready early. Great communication.

Condo was nice, host was very responsive and gave clear instructions. The location to the ski resort was excellent.

The building itself needs some work.

Loved that the location was ski in/out. The location was not too far from the main village and you can take the shuttle there and back. The condo was great, and had ample amenities. Tim stopped by to replace a broken chair and they even accomodated a request from us to borrow a vacuum as what we brought wasn't working for our vacuum seal bags. Recommend following their advice of bringing in groceries or ordering from the Walmart in Elkin. They are great hosts!

Great stay. Perfect WiFi even with 6 inches of snow. Really appreciate communications from host and how easy it was to check in. I’d stay with them again.

Great stay in Silver Creek, all the necessary amenities and more, comfortable beds, clean, and amiable hosts. Can’t wait to come back, looking forward to another stay soon!

The one bedroom at Silver Creek was cozy and perfect for our family ski trip. Very clean and had everything we needed. Washer and dryer in the unit was a plus! Thanks for hosting us!

This was a fantastic stay for those who are looking to snowboard at Snowshoe. It’s a ski in/ski out place and near all the fun parts of snowshoe! Quick access to food, bar & grills, slopes, the village, and transportation is easily accessible from silver creek. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

Wonderful place and very responsive!

we were very happy with the accommodations. The place was clean and comfortable. Access to the pool and hot tub was a nice bonus. They communicated well, and accommodated us on a last minute booking.

We stayed here for a weekend during shoulder season in October because we had tickets to take our 5 year old son on the train ride at Cass. He loved the fact that there was a bunk bed in our bedroom. It worked out great for us, even though Snowshoe wasn't open, there were a few restaurants still open and the unit had a fridge and small kitchen so it was easy to fix a simple breakfast in the morning.

The host sent us all the info we needed ahead of time, which is important because there is no cell service in the area. The staff that was onsite at Silvercreek was also super friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them. It was a beautiful 20 minute drive down to Cass. We had a wonderful weekend!

Nice place:) my husband had to be working in the area. He likes staying in a cozy place vs being in a motel room. This fit his need and his spending allotment. The only thing he didn’t like (and sometimes it’s out of their control) is you already pay a cleaning fee but if you forget or don’t run the dishwasher there is an additional 25.00 fee for that. They were very responsive and kind when answering any questions I had. I needed the passcode before he left for work bc there is no service unless you have wifi. They promptly sent the code so he would have it upon arrival. Thanks for being kind:)

We had a wonderful stay! Tubing was right outside which was amazing! There is a bus that runs to take you to the lifts but there was a lift right at the air b&b! The location was great, it was not right in the middle of everything (which made it peaceful) but very easy to get to everything. They had everything we needed! The kitchen was well stocked! Every thing was very clean. The host gave a lot of amazing recommendations and very clear instructions! Thank you for an amazing weekend!

This was a clean, newly remodeled unit at Silver Creek. Some units at Silver Creek look a little outdated, but not this one! Tim and Mari included thoughtful amenities like pegs to hang skis, lamps with USB ports, and a double boot dryer. The kitchen was well-stocked and everyone got a good night’s sleep on the comfortable beds. Great decor and a quick walk to the pool and sauna, as well as the game room, sports bar, and coffee shop. Silver Creek is the place to stay if you love night skiing. There’s also a free bus that can take you the 5 minute drive over to Snowshoe. We’re already planning our next trip. Tim and Mari were great at communicating with helpful tips and quick responses to questions.

Tim and Mari's unit was the perfect spot for our winter getaway. The unit was at the top of Snowshoe located at the Silver Creek ski resort. The onsite availability of an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs and sauna, tubing and night skiing was a big hit! It was wonderful to park my car and be able to hop on the free bus service that was available to for skiing at Snowshoe and the Village where we could shop and dine at a variety of restaurants.

The place was great! It seemed brand new. There is ski out at Silver Creek and night skiing. They have rentals and restaurants right in the lodge. Tim and Mari were very responsive and helpful during our stay. The condo was as we expected from the pictures and description. The place was perfect for our family. It might be a tight fit if you have 6 adults. We would stay again!

For a base at Snowshoe Ski Resort for a family of 4, this was the perfect place. We loved the layout where the sleeping quarters were in a separate room. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with crockery/utensils/appliances—the condo had everything necessary to make pancakes, pasta and sauce, and chicken curry, too! (I brought my own measuring spoons/cups and whisks, but found I didn’t need them.) But do note that absolutely no spices/oil are provided. I brought all but salt, which we easily bought downstairs. The bathroom is well-appointed with ample storage space, and the shower pressure is great! We also appreciated the storage space for ski equipment next to the washer/dryer. Finally, we loved going to the peaceful outdoor hot tub after a day of skiing and didn’t feel the need to go to Slide Rock—our 8-year old twins loved every minute! This condo is on the pricier side, but for what we were looking for, it is completely worth it.

An absolute fantastic stay at Snowshoe/Silvercreek Mountain! Forget about staying in the Village at Snowshoe, the Lodge at Silvercreek is where it's at! Entrance to the Silvercreek ski trails right outside your door, great food and drinks on site, and an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs downstairs for the kids to play (and for adults to ease any hard falls on the slopes). The stay and experience far exceeded our expectations! The condo itself is recently renovated and has everything you need to make your trip enjoyable. Furthermore, there were small amenities that added a personal touch (welcome Keurig pods), and small home items that you might have forgotten to bring (a roll of foil for baking). Lastly, as owners and managers of the property, Tim and Mari were very professional and responsive; as individuals, they were helpful, friendly, and made us feel like family. We WILL be stay here again in the future and will recommend Tim and Mari to all of our friends!

Tim's condo at Silver Creek provided everything we needed for a last minute stay. Tim was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We highly recommend staying here during your visit to Snowshoe!

Great place to stay when you visit Silver Creek. It has the modern convenience of an updated kitchen and bathroom with beautiful old-world-charm furnishings throughout the condo. The host is very responsive and provides great instructions.

Place was good, location was nice! Tim was a great host responded promptly if we needed something. We did have an issue the dryer was broken and having 3 little kids under the age of 10( and it rained 2 days out of the 5 we stayed) the dryer was a very big deal and the public dryer wasn’t that close when you have littles,

It costed us $4 ($2 didn’t do the job) every night to dry the kids gear. I do wish Tim would have let us know ahead of time so we could’ve planned better for this! He was kind enough to refund us $50 for the dryer but it was such an inconvenience. Overall it was a decent stay and would probably stay again if the dryer issue is fixed!

If you have kids and need a dryer I would definitely check to make sure it was fixed before booking. If we didn’t have the kiddos and it was just my husband and I, the dryer wouldn’t be an issue.

Had a great time a Tim’s place! Just as advertised, super convenient location on Snowshoe’s less crowded ski area, and saved a lot on rentals with Tim’s local discount. Perfect spot for a ski reunion with my family. Would definitely come back.

What can I say. Top of the mountain views are incredible.

Everything was wonderful and Tim was an excellent host. He was quick to respond, check in was super easy, and we loved all of the amenities that Silver Creek had to offer. We will definitely book a future trip with this host in the future.
