As such, we have to insist you find alternative accommodations for your pets. However, if you have a certified Service Animal, let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate you. Service animals must be registered when you check-in at the front desk.
EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note we cannot guarantee check-in prior to 5:00 PM. Mountain Lodge may be able to accommodate your request for an earlier check-in as long as the room is clean and set up.

PARKING: Your reservation includes parking for up to as many vehicles as there are bedrooms in the condo you’ve booked. Any additional vehicles will be allowed to unload passengers and luggage at the Mountain Lodge main entrance, but will then need to find parking outside of the Mountain Lodge parking lot. We welcome you to park for free at the Top of the World (left out of Mountain Lodge parking lot; one mile up the road). From there, you can take the shuttle to the Village, and walk to Mountain Lodge. It is imperative that you move your vehicle(s) out of the Mountain Lodge parking lot immediately following check-out, as the lot is not large enough to accommodate vehicles of incoming Guests in addition to those of departing Guests.

Great location! Easy to walk everywhere and exactly as expected. Would stay here again!
Awesome slope side place to stay, easy check in, homey place with lots to do for kids, very kid friendly
Good location near the slopes. The building is old and needs updating. Some amenities were in the process of being fixed (playground) and public spaces were a bit outdated in general. Condo itself was adequate, but also a bit outdated. Tim was excellent host and was very responsive.
Great experience! Tim was very helpful and quick to respond to my questions. The condo is very clean and has pretty much everything you could need. We used all the beds, including the sleeper sofa, which has a decent mattress. The kitchen is very small, but we made the best of it with 2 people cooking breakfast and dinner each day. The location is great for ski-in/ski-out, especially if you want to get on the slopes called Ballhooter and Upper Hootenanny. The outside of the condo is up-to-date, but the inside is outdated. (this mainly applies the common hallways and shared areas). FYI: The condo is trying to update their key system (per the front desk worker) and currently uses regular door keys instead of card keys or a keypad. All in all, I would stay here again!
The Mountain Lodge has its own parking lot which makes unloading your luggage and gear easy to do. Once you park your vehicle you can get anything you need at the village. The room was just it was described in the Airbnb listing.
You can ski out from the lockers and the village is very close to the property. My kids really enjoyed the arcade. The waffle store right outside the property is a must do!
The location was great. Met the needs of our family. I would definitely return. The room itself has some miles on it and could probably use a facelift in a few places, but the value for money and the location was great. The communication with Tom was great. We had a fun trip and would like to come back.
Very convenient ski-in/ski-out. Slope is right outside of the building. Reasonable price. The place is a bit old but pretty clean. Host is very responsive.
Great, well furnished Mountain Lodge unit. Has everything you need. The bunk beds in the front room are great for kids. loved the board hooks and boot dryers in the hallway. Would stay again!
Had an awesome time skiing in Snowshoe with great access to the slopes and the village!
Location, location, location! You can't beat the easy access to the slopes and the village. The condo was very comfortable and well equipped for our family gathering. Would be happy to rent from Tim again.
Overall had a really nice stay! The building itself is outdated inside, but the room was like a cozy little cabin. They offer luggage carts which were great. Check in was simple and easy. The room had everything you need to have a nice day on the slopes (boot driers, lots of ski and snowboard wall storage). Great that there are two nice bathrooms. Blankets were pretty thin so bring your own if you like thicker blanket. Also bring your own coffee, there is a nicer coffee maker! The only thing that wasn’t ideal is check in being at 5. We knew that coming down, but after traveling for 5.5 hours Tim said depending on the cleaning crew we may be able to get in. The parking guy told us to come back at 5 they wouldn’t let us in any earlier (and parking elsewhere was hard to find). Tim was super nice and responsive. Great little room for a weekend getaway! Would definitely come back.
Had a slight snag with the check-in process (my fault) but after contacting Tim it was fixed within minutes. Great ski in/ski out spot for a vacay with friends or family.
my family and I loved our stay, it was everything we needed.
Place was super clean and in a great location. Parking was great and easy. Ski in and ski out was VERY convenient.
Tim’s place was great, close to the slopes and is facing the parking lot. The room is closer to the parking lot area then the slopes but the slopes is less than a 5 min walk & you don’t even have to take a lift to start shredding. Bars and restaurants are near but due to covid everything closes kind of early so. Mr. Tim was very polite and quick to respond to our questions. I would definitely stay again.
Super location, ski In & Out - exit the building right at the Ballhooter lift and blue run - extra convenient to the village. The unit was great, comfortable furnishings & beds (so important after a day on the slopes) - nice touches throughout - a great location and value - once ML opens fully its close to two exits and the kids play space (closed currently due to Covid stuff) - Tim was very responsive - we had NO issues but I am sure had we had any he would have tackled them immediately - super host
This condo seems to be a good value for what you get. The set up worked well for our family of 5.
All is as it appears. Great central location to the Snowshoe area. Can get a bit warm during the summer but nothing I couldn’t handle with a good fan.
We had a great week at Snowshoe! The condo location is perfect. The only time we used our car was for night skiing at Silver Creek. Ski slopes are right outside Mountain Lodge. We rented a locker and didn't have to carry our equipment back to the condo. The condo is literally 2-3 minutes walk from the village, restaurants, shops, and a small grocery store. The condo's kitchen is well furnished. We will definitely return to Snowshoe and woule rent this unit again if available.
We enjoyed our stay very much. There were 5 people there - me, wife, son, and 5-year old grandchildren. The grandchildren had skied a couple of times (barely staying upright on their skis) last year. In three days this year, they made tremendous progress - truly understanding what they were doing and skiing on beginner and intermediate slopes. Everyone else is a good skier and thoroughly enjoyed skiing and seeing the 5-year old twins ski.
The condo completely met our needs. Would go there again!
This condo has everything you need and the location is great. Tim is great to work with and answers your questions promptly. We have stayed in this condo 2 years in a row and looking forward to staying again next yer.
My family of four enjoyed our stay at this condo in Snowshoe, especially the convenience to the slope and all of the amenities of the village. You are literally just a short walk away from all that Snowshoe has to offer. And with the K bed and full size bunk, it was all the sleeping space our family of four needed.
We go to Snowshoe every year and have rented from Tim several times at Mountain Lodge. Our experience with him has always been very professional, with prompt responses and a great customer experience and this year was no different. We do have several comments for the unit owners, however. let me preface my comments with the fact that we understand when we stay in Mountain Lodge that it is no frills. It is a basic, dated lodge with a $5 key deposit and an arcade. It is the most economy option for being in the village - we paid a reasonable rate for a prime weekend in a ski in/ski out location. So the dated unit did not offend. But since this unit faces the parking lot and is one of the farthest from the slope, to keep it rented regularly I recommend the owners take the time to make a couple of inexpensive changes that would make people want to rent again the next year. The master BR needs black-out curtains (I saw this in a review from last year and it was ignored) - the lights from the parking lot are very bright. The window in the living room leaks (we had a heavy rain and filled 1/2 a small trashcan with water from the drip... housecleaning gave us extra towels and said it has been happening in the unit every time the snow starts melting). If the utensils won't fit in the kitchen, find a better piece of furniture, such as a rolling butcher block, to put them in. I hope these suggestions help. We have owned a weekly rental condo at the beach and found that it is the little things that make people repeat renters as well as recommending to their friends.
Comfortable unit.
Nicely maintained
Had a great time at snowshoe. Tim was great to work with, he got back to us in a quick manner. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. Only issue we had was the front desk advised we could not park on property until the unit was ready. Over all we had a great time and enjoyed the unit we stayed at.
The room was clean and comfortable. Lights from the parking lot were bright at night and the windows had some air leaks so the whistle from heavy wind was kind of loud. Eye mask and ear plugs solved it though. Otherwise great stay
Loved the 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. Had everything we needed. Thanks for adding the air conditioner. If you are looking for a nice place to stay, this is it.
Working with Tim was great. He responded quickly to my request to stay and very promptly returned my deposit. The place was great and exactly as described. Definitely plan to stay in one of Tim's properties again!
Our stay was great, great location, really good price, couldn't ask for a better weekend trip.
Great location in village and ski in/out - you want to rent from Tim! He is the best, organized, we stayed in 2 places he owns in Mountain lodge because we ended up coming a night early amid weather concerns - he send you all you need to know for your stay/ his places are nice, clean, in great condition and he had his own wifi which our teens appreciated in between skiing- we will always rent from Tim when coming to snowshoe!
The lodge in general was outdated but our room accommodations were great. There were a lack of hand towels for drying dishes and lack of trash bags but for the most part the kitchen was easy to use and details on what to bring kitchen wise was helpful. The first bedroom got very warm just from lack of air flow so bringing another fan would have been helpful. There weren't many lockers available at the ski entrance so toting all of the gear each time was a little frustrating but we made do. I would stay here again
The condo was clean and convenient to the Village. Thought there were two beds in the guest room based on review of how many the condo slept but only one so my son had to sleep on the pull out couch the entire time. Also limited hot water in the morning for showers. Other than that enjoyed the stay and a fun experience for the family.
This is a nice unit for a small family. It is in a great location, convenient to shops and slopes. There are plenty of carts to unload your gear, though there is often a wait for the elevators. The building staff were very friendly and helpful. I personally could have used a few more cooking utensils, or maybe higher quality ones, but we ate every meal in to save money, so if you aren't planning to use the kitchen so much, you won't find a problem. I highly recommend this unit!
Nicely appointed unit with everything we needed. Got a pizza after biking on the Greenbrier River Trail and watched Game 7 (what a nailbiter!) Staff is great, building is close to all the shops and restaurants in the Village.
