We had a great time at Snowshoe resort and would recommend Tim as a host. He is courteous and quick to respond. The unit was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable - the room is so dark and cozy for sleeping, we slept about an hour later than usual every day, which was just what we needed.

We came on a “down” week at the resort, where they were switching from summer to winter season, so there wasn’t much to do - but we got some good hikes in and we would love to come back in-season one day.

I’d recommend limiting use to the pullout couch to younger folks, the pullout mattress left a bit to be desired. If you’re out on the slopes all day though, you’ll still sleep just fine! My family member said the main bed was great.

This was our first trip to Snowshoe and it was incredible! Tim was an awesome host and his condo was wonderful! It had a full kitchen and gorgeous view of the slopes. It was perfectly located to ski in/out on the slopes and walking distance to The Village (where all the restaurants, shops, rentals, etc are located). The grocery store was also a quick 5 minute walk max. We were able to park our car at check-in and did not use it again until check out. I could not recommend his place more!

Location is amazing for biking or skiing. Would be nice if the balconies were finished but that’s not the owners fault. Updated pictures would be nice as this unit seemed more dated than it was shown. The hotel could rent the lockers for free, and needs a lot of updating. The bathroom had some sort of smell but was clean. The pillows on the other hand, a bag of chips with a Kleenex inside would have been a more comfortable pillow. Dish soap (not powder) would also be nice to clean dishes.

Everything was great. From the building, to Timothy the owner, location, views. We always walk across the street to enjoy the huge outdoor hot tub. We always have an outstanding time in Timothys condos. ONE THING TO NOTE - The mattress leaves much to be desired, and as my wife and I hit age 30, it really caught up to us during this trip. We didnt notice 4 years ago when we were 26. But again, for the price we pay and what we get, big kitchen, slopeside porch, I could not let the mattress alone drop it to 4 stars.

This was the first time my family stayed at the Mountain Lodge and although the building itself is quite old and could use a bit of an update (especially circa 1980's video arcade), the condo was clean and well decorated. Very close to Ball Hooter quad lift and close to the village, very easy access parking. We'll be back here next year as it's a better option than many of the resort accommodations.

Mountain Lodge is an old facility, but it is still very functional, and there is no better location on the mountain. Room 142 is nothing fancy, but for 3 old men, it was perfect. It is well-supplied with cooking utensils and supplies such coffee filters, paper towels, salt & pepper, etc. Highly recommend this place for 2-3 people.

This was our second trip to Snowshoe, and it did not disappoint. The condo in Mountain Lodge was fantastic as well. It was clean, updated, and the view can't be beat! We loved watching the ski lift when we weren't on the slopes and watching the snowmobiles come by at night!

Tim was a great communicator and answered all questions quickly! We can't wait to get back to Snowshoe and this will be our go to lodging! Do not hesitate in booking this condo. It is first rate!

"Well equipped, excellent location"

You really can't get any better ski-in, ski-out location than this! On the first floor, just a few rooms from the slope-side exit. Updated appliances were nice, and the indoor/outdoor thermometer in the bedroom was another convenient touch! The glove/boot dryer was another perk of this particular condo. Noise certainly comes in from the nearby lobby, but the lodge quiet hours did seem to keep this to a minimum through the night.

The property was very nice. It was very clean and well decorated. Had a nice view of the slope side as well. Only downside is the checkin at 5PM. They said if the room wasn’t ready we couldn’t even park in the parking lot. We arrived at 230. Luckily the room was clean and they allowed us to park and checkin early.

What an awesome place! Very impressed on the price and the whole building. Normally my self and or friends stay off mountain to reduce costs or occasionally at Top of the World. Couldn't get our normal place off or on so I decided on Mountain Lodge and we loved it! Good parking and atmosphere, check in was simple and room was great. For 30 dollars more per night verse or other option and convince we will def be booking here again. Our only issue was that the pull out couch was very uncomfortable, which I mean we weren't expecting it to be given that anywhere we have stayed they never are, but there were no extra pillows for the pull out and by the time we checked in it was 5 pm and front desk said we would have to wait until the next day.

This is an awesome slopeside condo. Everything you need, nice little kitchen! The owner, Timothy is great, and the ML staff is helpful. The best thing about this condo is the little porch, you can see the grooming, snowmaking, watch them fire up ballhooter bout 815 every morning.

The room is located on the first floor of mountain lodge overlooking the slopes. The walk to the village is very short for dinner or shopping. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! The condo was very clean, very nicely updated and had all of the necessities for our Monday-Friday stay! I have stayed within Mountain Lodge multiple times and will continue to do so. We love the common area in the evenings for games and looking at pictures taken throughout the day. The bed was a little firm for me, but that is just personal preference and with the location of this unit, it can get a bit noisy in the mornings and evenings when trying to sleep in or get to bed early (people traffic/ski boots in the hallway outside). Howevever, neither is a deterrent that would keep me from staying in this unit in the future. It's location within Mountain Lodge is extremely convenient to the common area and the exit to the slopes.. loved being on the main level! As always, the staff on the mountain was phenomenal! My group is full of snowboarders who love the terrain parks and even with the warm conditions, they were kept in excellent shape! I even met and rode the lift a few times with the terrain parks manager. The conditions were far from pristine, but all trails were groomed to perfection! No matter the temperature and conditions, rain or shine, we ALWAYS have an amazing time at Snowshoe!

Fantastic comfortable stay! Set up nicely with lots of hooks for ski coats, gear, and holder for skis and snowboard and wet boots. Comfortable queen bed, great TV in living room and bedroom as well as DVD player in living room. Kitchen is well equipment for meal preps. Definitely recommend for anyone going to Snowshoe if you don't plan to eat out , bring your own groceries and paper products. Condo has fantastic view of side of slope and ski lift Ballhooter. 142 very convenient on corner of 1st floor near large water fall, front desk, and huge awesome lounge with great fireplace. The rooms were clean and set up with everything you need. Great place, will definitely book again! Thank you Tim for being so easy to work with and so accommodating!

This place is such a little treasure on top of the mountain. It is one bedroom, very convenient and convertible condo with view of the mountain slope and lake. It feels rather spacious and has a lot of sunlight. The big kitchen table is really great. 🙂 🙂 :). The condo was very clean and the complex has pool, sporting facilities and laundry room. The staff at the property provided me with all things I asked for. I was very comfortable.

I visited in October, so outside of the ski season. The weather was just perfect for long walks. I had very peaceful and serene time in this beautiful environment, which is exactly what I was looking for. 🙂 I highly recommend it.

"A great stay and a very accommodating host!"

This unit was in the perfect location, especially for having my sister's wedding right there in the Mountain Lodge. The place has nice fixtures and looks like it has been remodeled which was perfect for taking pictures as we were all getting ready for the wedding. The shower gets nice and hot with great water pressure. The view was beautiful with the lift and mountainside right out the back patio. Tim was great to work with. He was easy to get a hold of, very accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. He even made sure there was a blender, crockpot and 9 x 13 baking dish for us to use which was very helpful as we cooked the whole time we were there. The price was excellent for the value too! I would highly recommend this unit and working with Tim.

We have stayed here many times and always enjoy it. The unit is in excellent condition and serves our needs quite well. Communicating with Tim is a breeze and I'm always eager to work with him. Looking forward to many returns.

** The only complaints I have about the Mountain Lodge is their no-pets rule and their spotty internet. I realize these are both out of Tim's control, but hope that eventually some day they consider reassessing these two things.

I wish you had a very good rating. Our experience was very close to excellent. The only major problem we had was a very strong spicy/greasy cooking/kitchen odor. It was overwhelming when we arrived and lingered the entire stay. we smelled it each time we entered the condo. We also noticed other peoples cooking odors in the halls. Perhaps there is a ventilation problem in the entire lodge. Otherwise, I would give an excellent rating. I am very sensitive to smells but my son was also bothered by the smell. Everything else was great. The unit was clean and comfortable. We loved the view and being able to ski up to the door was fabulous! We where able to catch a shuttle to go to Silver Creek to night ski. That was a plus! We have stayed at several other condos on the mountain but this was indeed the easiest access to the slopes we have ever had! The décor was great too. The only other problems we saw were minor: the blind on the sliding door was broken...no strings or pulls to open and close it and the heater in the living room under the window was missing its cover. We were not given any hand towels for the bathroom either so we used washcloths for that purpose. These are very minor to us but if it was my condo I would want to fix these things when possible. The lodge staff were very kind and helpful. I would stay here again!

We have been going to snowshoe for years and have rented rooms from Tim Wolfe for the last three years and can't say enough about how wonderful of experience we have every year on our annual ski vacation. We have rented In MountainLodge Snowshoe the last 3 years and Tim gives us a great deal that beats every other owner and 1/2 the price of what Snowshoe charges. The room has breath-taking views of the mountains! We can't wait for next year!! Thank you again Tim for making my family's vacation extra special!!

The condo never got above 60F when it was 0F outside air temp, we adjusted the thermostats, but the perimeter electric radiant heating system could not keep up.

We are very pleased with our stay at Snowshoe in this condo. The unit was better than we expected. The kitchen has all the dishware you need. Our two kids (age 11 and 12) on the sleeper sofa and were happy to have a TV they could watch in the living room, in addition to the one in the bedroom. The unit location is great, and the view is fantastic. Tim was great to work with. We highly recommend this unit.

The room location was excellent. My main complaint is that the bed mattress was absolutely horrible . My wife and I had to take all the blankets in the room (which was plenty) and put them under the sheets to soften the mattress. Other than that the room had everything a person could ask for. Well, with the exception of a crockpot.

Me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed how convenient mountain lodge 142 was. Everything was great, Tim was great and very helpful/descriptive as to what to do and how to get there. The one and ONLY complaint I have is that the bed mattress was pretty firm, which was difficult for sleeping on after a long day of skiing. Other than that, everything was fantastic. And we will absolutely be visiting again in the future

This would have been our 3rd stay at Tim's condo if the weather had been kinder to us. Tim was very generous and refunded our money 100%. I hope to stay again later in the season. I highly recommend this condo. It is ski-in, ski out, very clean, lots of upgrades! I have been coming to Snowshoe Mountain for about 20 years. This is definitely one of the best places I have stayed on the mountain.

"Review of the Manager"

This would have been our first time staying in this condo and we were really looking forward to a much needed vacation. Unfortunately, due to the recent unusually warm weather conditions on the mountain we had to cancel our trip. Timothy was able to refund our money 100% 1 week before we were suppose to be at Snowshoe due to these special circumstances (lack of open terrain, lack of snow, etc.). I love Snowshoe and have been going there for about 5 years now. Next time we plan a trip back, I will definitely book with Timothy again. He is a pleasure to deal with, very understanding and accommodating, and we hope to try again soon!

The pictures show how the condo really looks, except TV in living room has been upgraded. The condo was clean & the location was perfect for walking around in the village & getting to/from the parking lot. Tim was great to work with and the resort staff were friendly. I would have given it 5 stars, but although it is indicated as a year-round resort, most of the restaurants & shops are closed until the end of November. On our 1st night, after traveling 6+ to get there, we had to go back down the mountain to eat dinner. Also, the condo is right in the middle of a Quiet Zone, so there is no cell service. However, all in all, I would return here & I would recommend it to friends/family. Thanks Tim for sharing you great condo at a great price!

We actually stayed here two weekends in a row. Had such a good experience dealing with Timothy, that we made a last minute plan to come back. I see returning to rent from him in the future.
The upgraded kitchen is quite nice. Though everything is "efficiency" sized, the appliances and fixtures are new and quite nice.
The furniture in the living/dining area is quite nice.
The first floor apartment is a real plus at the Mountain Lodge, both for convenience and because it's much cooler in the summer than the upper rooms.
Our only gripe is that we can't bring our dog. And that's nothing to do with this unit, it's a rule throughout the Mountain Lodge and most of the Snowshoe area.
Another thing about the Mountain Lodge, which is more weird than anything; They don't give you dish soap. They give you just about everything else you might need, including paper towels and dishwasher detergent. But if you want to hand wash something like a pot or your coffee mug, you'd better bring your own Palmolive!

"Exactly What We Needed"

Spending July 4th at Snowshoe was perfect. Even the rainy weather couldn't keep us away from the hiking, skeet and Razrs. The weather cleared just in time for the fireworks which we could see perfectly from 142. The location is great inside the building and outside the resort. The unit is clean and it has everything we needed for a quiet night's sleep and morning coffee with a perfect view.

"First Floor and Best View on the Mountain"

Visited for 5 nights in the summer. Temperature was absolutely perfect for mountain biking in May, but might have needed long sleeves if the sun is not out. First floor so you can ride up to the balcony from the lift; balcony is off the ground 4ft, but you can toss gear up or get snacks from your friends! Rooms are nice and well stocked. The Mountain Lodge staff will give you soaps or toiletries like a hotel if you need it.
Beautiful condo that looks right out on the lift! You look out and have an incredible view of the mountain range across the basin. Unbelievable room location.

Did I mention that it's the cheapest place to stay on the mountain in the summer?

"Nice renovated unit with great location"

Good unit for a short stay. Well equipped. All kitchen appliances are "studio style" so they're a bit small -this was perfectly fine for us as we were only staying 2 nights. The freezer was very tiny though, fair warning! We used a cooler for some extra beverages. Stayed naturally cold on the balcony.

Queen Bed was comfortable (sofa bed is like any other sofa bed... A little thin) and bedroom stayed completely dark even when it was very light out (window goes out to hallway so not much reason to open it)

Internet is notoriously bad at Snowshoe. If you really need internet access, the owner of this has other units with dedicated wireless internet that will be way faster. But it met our very basic needs at times. But we're mostly there to ski and get off our screens. 🙂

The building is older, and around 8 AM you start hearing ski boots, etc outside your door if you're in the bedroom, but can't hear it from the living room. But you should be at snowshoe to ski, not sleep in, so not too much of an issue.

Location can't be beat and while the building is older the views are pretty and unit is very nicely renovated. Great place for the price.

"Fully updated and well taken care of"

Nicely appointed condo. One bedroom and living/kitchen area, but space is used wisely. The kitchen has been updated with granite and stainless steel. Nice large TVs in living room and bedroom. On the first floor looking right at the ballhooter lift. The room in directly across from check in, the afternoon is a little loud with all of the ski boots on the linoleum, but quieted down by bedtime. Great price and probably the nicest unit in the entire Mountain Lodge.

We had a great time on our first trip to Snowshoe. It truly is a winter wonderland! Condo was just what we needed for a short getaway....Clean and equipped with everything we needed. The best part was the convenient location. We loved to be able to walk right outside and go down the slopes, or step right off the lift and be at the condo!

The appliance are foreign and don't cook properly. We ended up having to eat out and through our cookies out as they wee just a pile of mush. The place was very clean and everything worked great, except the boot dryer didn't seem to do anything. It was very spacious for the two of us and we would definitely stay here again.

The only complaints besides the boot dryer, which is really just a luxury anyway, would be that housekeeping didn't visit us, which might have just been bad luck, and that WiFi only seemed to work in the bedroom, not quite reaching the living area. Although we didn't go there to play on the internet, so it won't take away from the rating, plus it's not really the owner's problem.

Can't wait to come back, thanks for the great communication and upkeep of the room!

"Rent from one of the Best - Enjoy All of Snowshoe without the high price of Lodging."

Staying in one of Timothy Wolfe's condos is the best way to save money and enjoy your stay on the mountain. He continues to update and improve the accommodations and is quick to respond to questions or concerns. You can spend more elsewhere in the village, but Mountain Lodge has comfort and the location for ski out and back with great views. This is our second time up and we will definitely rent again. This unit is very clean and comfortable, has a kitchen well stocked with utensils, glassware, etc. Upgraded wide screen TV this year in main room. Also AT&T available down the hall, in the village and various spots around the mountain if spotty or NA in some locations. The huts at the bottom of chairlifts up and down the mountain do have WiFi so communication is possible when you don't have hands on ski poles. My wife really enjoyed the new spa while I skied.

This room was clean, had nice kitchen appliances, and had a nice view of the Ballhooter lift out of the balcony. Couldn't ask for anything better for the condition of the room. Did not have a washer/dryer, which was kind of a bummer.

I did not have a great experience with the people at the front desk. Standing at the desk, they did not speak to me until I spoke first. Did not make me feel welcome. After getting the keys to my room, I asked them for directions to the Wildcat, as I had not stayed at the mountain lodge before, and was unsure of my surroundings. They told me to go out the front door. That was it. Not left at the Rd., not around the corner, or anything. Had I not had a basic knowledge of the mountain already, I would have been aimlessly wondering.

I give the room itself a 5 star.

"Great location and accommodation at Snowshoe"

We made a last-minute decision to go skiing at Snowshoe and was fortunate to have found this accommodation. The location of the building is very convenient, literally ski-in and ski-out of the Ballhooter lift. The Mountain Lodge is also only a couple of minutes of walk from the village. The one-bedroom has been recently renovated and while it is not the Four Seasons, it looks updated with all the amenities. It was also a pleasure to deal with Tim in the renting process. Highly recommended!!!

My daughter and I totally enjoyed this great location at Snowshoe. It was the most convenient ski in/ski out location you could ask for. Besides the location it was well furnished in the common area. The bedroom was a little small but more than adequate for our purposes. Well appointed kitchen with everything we needed.

This was our 4th time staying in this unit. We love it so much, we invited two families to join us and stay in two of Tim's other condos. We all had a great time. Tim listened to all the feedback I have provided in the past to improve the already fantastic accommodations. His customer service is second to none. We have already booked for spring break.

The condo was clean with updated appliances. Suited our purposes perfectly, 30 second watch out to the main lift on the mountain makes for easy in and out. Lunch breaks are easy and at the end of the day your relaxation station is right there. Mountain Lodge staff was great, accommodating and easy to work with. Bed was very comfortable and the pullout sofa was not too bad either. Perfect for a small group wanting to spend most of their time on the slopes. Enjoyed it.

"This is the place to stay!"

I want to stay here every visit to Snowshoe! Tim made the reservation process so easy and I'm convinced he gave us the best deal on the Mountain! I reserved the condo at the very last minute and arrived very late. The check-in process at Mt Lodge was a breeze but the best part was the location and condition of the condo. Looks brand new and it overlooks the lift and trails. Although it was early season and only part of the mountain was open, snow was good and it gave us a chance to socialize more with staff. The condo made you feel comfortable and relaxed, the Village was fun and energetic. Go see Ryan at The Junction or hit the happy hour at Old Spruce or Foxfire. It was the perfect getaway.

"Best Location and Price on the Mountain!"

Photos and reviews are Spot On, new pots pans, sofa bed, flat screen TVs. Very clean and for 1 BR had everything needed for best price and location on the Mountain. Parking was great, recently sealed and asphalt smell was fading by Sunday. Mere steps from the Ballhooter lift and just a few more to the village. If you need more space check out Tim's other units. Tim is fantastic to work with and responds very quickly to email or phone inquiries. These condos are in an older unit but are very well maintained and very clean. The staff for all the summer activities are super friendly and helpful. The lake could use more canoes and paddle boats (which could use updating). The trail ride was one of the most informative and unique my wife and I have ever been on. Great staff there and they also have 2 mules you can ride. Cheat Pizza very good and Fire Fox BBQ was great. All the restaurants gave great proportions for the price. The Sunset Cantina should add a happy hour and some Mexican food and appetizers to their menu or change their name. Nearby Green Bank Radio Telescope is a must see, kids there seemed to like it as well. We look forward to returning during the ski season and would definitely rent from Tim again. Summer time activities were more than we could do in two days and the temperatures were 10 degrees cooler with little humidity than down in the mountains. No AC in this unit but open windows and the ION fan in the BR was all that was needed to sleep well.

"Perfect Location"

I came up to Snowshoe for a weekend of mountain biking with my two sons. This unit in Mountain Lodge was fantastic! It is in the absolute best location - I could throw a rock to the Ballhooter lift from the balcony. The first floor location offered even easier exit to the trails. The condo itself was clean, plenty big for the three of us, and had everything you would need. The staff was great and very attentive - for example, opening up the game room (which is huge by the way) so my boys and I could play some arcade games. Again, the location could not have breen better. About 50 yards from the heart of the village, including the Mountain Adventure Center where we rented gear, and even less of a walk to the Split Rock Pools. We will definitely be coming back to stay in this same unit.

"A TRUE FAMILY VACATION SPOT!!!"

AMAZING!! Great view, great service, great room, great activities!!!!!!!!!! We will be back! Tim, you were great to work with and very attentive! Thank you for everything! WiFi was great in both the front room and the bedroom. We really enjoyed ourselves to the MAX!!! We did almost every Village activity and excursion offered! "This may be the best condo value on the mountain"

Mountain Lodge is one of the best ski in/ski out condos on the mountain because it's at Ballhooter - good lift, good slopes, and adjacent to the Village - the owner kindly recommended I switch to the first floor which is important for skiers and not so important for boarders since they can get around easier in their boots than I can in mine.

The condo is a great value because it was nicely remodeled and decorated and pleasant.

"Ski Vacay 2013"

We rented this unit in March 2013, on the last weekend of ski season. This unit was great for our family of 3. The location was perfect--right on the Ballhooter lift, and easy access to a lot of other trails. It was great b/c our daughter is 4 and learning to ski. This unit was very accessible to the bunny slope and we skiied over to the ski school with her each morning. This unit is right inside the lobby which was great when you have a bunch of equipment & luggage to carry in from your car. The unit itself was clean and cozy; it had everything that we needed as far as eating utensils and linens. Our daughter slept on the pull-out couch each night.

The location to the village is super convenient! We were able to walk every day & night for lunch & dinner. We loved Foxfire Grille (great food and beer!), and Cheat Pizza was also a favorite. There is a Walmart off one of the major highways that is about an hour away from the mountain (may be less but it was snowing when we came which made the trip longer). Depending on how far you are driving, or how much space you have in your car, I highly recommend stopping there to pick up some food for snacks/breakfast/lunch. The only options that are on the mountain to get food to make in the room have very little to choose from, and prices are high (IMO). Save your money and eat dinner in the village. 🙂 Since this unit is so close to the lift, it is easy to come in and eat quickly, then get back to the beautiful mountain!

I would recommend staying in this unit. You will find that Tim is easy to work with and very accomodating. In fact, we are coming back to the mountain Labor day weekend and will be renting with Tim again!

"Great Location, Clean Condo"

While this condo is not large (which we knew since the pictures are accurate and Tim lists the square footage), the layout, ski racks, boot/glove warmers and coat hooks in the hallway really made our storage functional and organized. We wished the bathroom had been larger, but that would be the case in any Mountain Lodge 1-bedroom and this one was clean and functional. The kitchen area looked newly remodeled and there was a TV in the bedroom by the time of our visit. We had two adults and two kids (age 10 & 6). This condo is literally right off the lobby and about 6 doors down from the exit to the slopes. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day and they must enforce the quiet hours (10 pm to 8 am) because we never had any noise issues and slept well. The snowcat groomer did drive around our area some the first night and the kids heard it, but that would be the case with any slopeside condo. We took Tim's advice and bought groceries on the drive in (local store is convenient but pricey) and did breakfasts and lunches in the condo. We walked each night to a different restaurant in the Village (and one night at Auntie Pastas in the building). I had never been to Snowshoe before and the convenience to the slopes, swimming, Village shops/restaurants from this condo cannot be beat. We all had a great time skiing - use your trail map and you can go right out the door to any Basin or Western Territory slope and back again easily. The wifi was spotty (I think because so many people were trying to use it); I had the best luck at lunchtime each day. Take the time to read Tim's suggestions, directions, etc. He obviously put a lot of time and effort into this information and it is invaluable. I overheard people on the lifts complaining about no cell service and the price of groceries, but we knew all that ahead of time thanks to Tim's information. If we get back to Snowshoe, we would definitely contact Tim for a condo.

"It is exactly as described"

The condo was as described and I would definitely recommend. It is close to everything, and you can view the slopes. The service at the condo and mountain where excellent and the accommodation were very clean. The skiing was great. We ate at the Fire Fox which was excellent but the wait was very long over 2 hours. Of course it was Presidents Day weekend, and I was warned by owner that it would be. The positives out weighed the negative. I would give the whole experience condo, skiing adn food a 9 out of 10 and would definitely rent again. There are only a few things that I did not like about the condo. Cooking was difficult. They could use some new non-stick fry pans. The stove did not seem to work well, we tried to cook frozen pizza and the oven took almost 40 minutes to get to temperature. It could be that I did not know how to operate, the oven dials weren't the clearest. Also, the sofa bed was a little uncomfortable the frame is a little bent so if you sleep with your head near the back of the sofa it is at an angle towards the floor. Also there really is no WIFI, getting a connection was nearly impossible.

What a great experience, coming off the ballhooter lift after a day boarding in powder, and walking 50 steps to ML 142! This is our second year staying here, and we plan to return. The owners have done a nice job remodleing this unit, and the view is incredible.

"Great Time at Snow Shoe"

Great time at Snow Shoe. The unusual warm weather for December was a concern, but the folks at Snow Shoe did a great job making snow and opening up some runs. We had great skiing Friday and Saturday all day and late in the evening.
The condo was great, with a view of the main lift and close to the Village. It was in great shape and worked well for our group.The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff made sure we had towels and other supplies and the Mountain Lodge staff had a fire going in the lobby all the time we were there. The wi-fi worked well, but as is the case at Snow Shoe, there was no cell service avialable.
I look forward to staying there in the furture
The owner was great to work with and I met other folks who also rented from him and they felt the same way. I look forward to working with the owner again when I stay at Snow Shoe and would recomend him to a friend.

"Location, Location, Location"

Great experience renting with Tim, would definately rent again. Ground floor, walk about 20 steps and your on the slopes and the condo was as adverstised, very clean and comfortable. You cannot go wrong with this place, some other VRBO rentals will mislead you to get you in but Tim does it right. Price was excellent and the location is Great!! I have stayed at Whistlepunk, Stemwinder, Shamrock and Rimfire in the past few years and Had never considered Mt Lodge but it will be on top of my list for my next trip.

"Clean, Affordable and Friendly place to stay and Ski"

Our total ski experience was a very good one, even with limited trails open. Our experience with Tim and the staff at Mountain Lodge were both excellent - would highly recommend. Tim is an excellent communicator and delivered on all his promises. Looking forward to our next trip with Tim and Snowshoe.

We had the good fortune to stay at Mountain Lodge recently. After 30 some years of vacations at Snowshoe we rate this unit to have one of the best views on the mountain. It was convenient to the Village restaurants and shops yet private and very accessable to the trails. Tim Wolfe and the staff at Mt. Lodge were very accommodating to our needs. We highly recommend this unit. Thanks Tim for another great stay on the mountain.

"Nice Condo!"

This condo is really nice and location is really nice. The view from balcony is really nice, its scenic. Please carry proper food items with you, as there are very less restaurant nearby this condo, and most of them remained closed during my stay. The only problem I felt with this condo, is that this condo doesn't have air conditioning. I visited Snowshoe during memorial day weekend, the weather was really hot and the condo didn't have air-conditioning 🙁 .
Please make sure you clarify before renting this property.

What a great condo! Awesome location. It couldn't be easier to get to the slopes from ML 142. After 4" of fresh powder on Sunday, we arrived, rode the mid-atlantics best trails, and then relaxed in one of the premier condos on the mountain. What a treat to relax and eat lunch overlooking the slops. Tim did a nice job remodeling the unit with up to date granite, stainless steel appliances and get this, a boot/glover drier. Best deal on the mountain. We will be back. Good Job Tim!!

"Awesome Condo!"

This is a great condo to stay in and you can't beat the price or the location in the Mountain Lodge which is central to everything in Snowshoe. My family of 4 (with 2 young boys) had a very good time staying here. The condo is in great shape, is clean, and has everything you need to cook meals and save $. The owner provides a lot of good information about the condo and Snowshoe and was quick to respond to questions. The view from the condo which overlooks a quad lift is very good and you can watch the skiers/snowboarders exiting the lift from the couch. Cool! The pool and village are right there so there is no need to get on a Shuttle unless you want to go to Sliver Creek. The lodge staff was friendly and helpful and you get daily maid service for towels, paper towels, trash bags. The lodge quiet hours start at 10 pm and seemed to be enforced which was also nice since we have young kids.

Location, location, location! This is a very nice one bedroom condo on the slope side with great views from the balcony. It is on the first floor with the door that puts you on the slopes just down the hall. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent ski-in/out condo with everything you need except for the food you eat. You can sit in the condo for hours watching skiers get off the Ballhooter lift and start down the mountain, very entertaining, better than watching tv. It only takes about 30 seconds to get from the front door until you're putting your skis on. Excellent for bathroom or snack stops while skiing, plus you're only about 50 yards from the village. This is one of the best values and accessable condos we've ever stayed in, very easy check in and out too. We're already checking our calendar for next year.

"Best Value on the Mountain"

We had a great time at Snowshoe the weekend of 1/27 and it started with a pleasant surprise just after check-in when we entered the condo. While the apartment is not large it is more than comfortable for a group of 4. The description and pictures provide a spot on breakdown of the amenities that are provided. The kitchen is well appointed with recently updated appliances and is stocked with the appropriate cookware. My son loved the ski rack and boot/glove warmer which worked great for keeping our gear organized and dry. Views from the balcony are outstanding with the Ballhooter lift, slopes, lake and north side of the mountain all within direct line of sight. Our questions upon check-in were addressed quickly and all of the staff that we encountered at the Mountain Lodge were friendly and responsive. In terms of improvement, the common areas of the Mountain Lodge are in need of a facelift but they are large and very functional.
When considering the quality of the room, views, proximity to the slopes, Split Rock pool and the village area this has to be the best value on the mountain. We will definitely be back to Snowshoe and will be staying in this condo!!

"Great time in Snowshoe!"

We had a wonderful time in Snowshoe and really enjoyed this condo! It's not big but it was all we needed for our family! The location is perfect, it was our favorite part about our stay! It was so close to the slopes that even our 4yr old didn't mind carrying his skis to the slopes! The condo has been newly remodeled and is very nice! The only thing we would have added is a TV in the bedroom. We enjoy laying in bed at night after the boys have gone to sleep to watch TV and really missed having that little item of luxury! The staff was great and very helpful! I was glad to have housekeeping services, they bring fresh towels and kitchen supplies daily. Also, the boot dryer was definitely a plus, especially with the kids! The Mountaintop Lodge has quiet hours daily from 10PM-8AM and they are strictly enforced, it was wonderful!!! Never any loud noises coming from the Atrium! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return again! Oh one more thing, when Tim sends you suggested driving routes to get to Snowshoe, use them!! We followed Google maps to get to Snowshoe and it was terrible! Followed his directions home and it was much better!!

This condo was even better than we expected: Kitchen was well-equipped and felt like new; glove/boot dryer was a great feature; and a very short walk to the slopes.

And the owner was prompt and professional handling our questions and paperwork. We'll stay here again.

Our only complaint wasn't related to lodging at all. Two of the restaurants in the Village mishandled our orders, so those meals took much longer than expected. We ended up with some free food, but the timing made it difficult with young ones. We had breakfasts and lunches in the condo -- will do some dinners there too next time.
