224 Expedition Station

We enjoyed our stay. Was as decribed and pictured. Great ski in ski out location. Quiet. Very easy access to the ski lockers, one floor down via the stairs, then out that door to the slopes. lockers large enough for a few sets skis and poles. We had 2 sets and could leave our boots in there. Adequate kitchen equipment. Plenty of plates, etc. Easy to cook a basic meal. You will need to wash your dishes and dry them. It is very warm in the room. Nice size bathroom. Bed comfortable. Furniture comfortable. Great for 2 people, but could easily handle 3 adults or a family with 2 children. 4 adults may be crowded. There is a beverage frig. and lowest temperature is 40 degrees. It did accommodate all our food , which we mostly pre-cooked. You will need to walk a short distance to unload your car and then move your car to the parking lot across the street. Easy walk. Check in first a couple of buildings away. short walk or drive there.

Ski in/ski out was so awesome! Also came with access to lockers which was super convenient. Located right in the village which is very cute and filled with amazing restaurants. We had a great time and would definitely book again!!

Perfect ski-in/ski-out experience! The convenience couldn’t be better—step outside and you’re on the slopes. In the center of the village and right on the slopes to maximize time on the mountain. Comfortable, seamless, and exactly what you want for a stress-free ski trip. The condo had all the essentials for cooking basic meals. Would definitely stay again.

This is a great place to stay for 2 people with a very convenient location. It would be tight with 4 people though. Ski lockers were large and easily accessible. We were a little worried about parking but there was plenty. There's not really a great place to unload/load your car but we also didn't ask at the Snowshoe ticket office beside the rental. We just parked in an adjacent parking lot since it was after skiing hours to unload. Even though the kitchenette is small, it worked for us. I cooked some things ahead of time and reheated and cooked other things on the 2 burner stove. The place was really immaculate when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again for the price!

Condo was at Expedition Station, which is centrally located to the Village at Snowshoe. This is ideal for me because it allows for quick and convenient access to the mountain bike trails which was the primary reason for my trip. The location is also within a very short walk to several bars and restaurants so that I could relax and unwind at the end of the day. The condo was clean and well organized. It is located on the slope side of the mountain so there is very minimal noise from activities and events that were occurring in the center of the Village. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Overall great experience.

The only issue I had was checking in at 2am but that's only because I didn't know where to go after-hours at the resort. Once I got that sorted, everything was EZPZ.

The AirBNB fees are ridiculous, especially the cleaning fees. As such I did not clean the room spotless before leaving (just the usual tidying), else I would have felt cheated out of the $155 cleaning fee. Also there were dirty socks and undies under the furniture from a previous guest so that's a -1 star 🙂

FOR FUTURE GUESTS: If you arrive after midnight (and before 8am) you have to go to Mountain Top Check-In over by Top of the World. It's at the southernmost point of the resort -- on the right as you're coming in from the south, or on the left PAST the village if you come in from the north side.

This is the perfect place for 2 people to enjoy the snowshoe village area and utilize the ski in ski out location. We will definitely be coming back to stay with Tim and Mari.

It's a perfect place for a ski trip in Snowshoe! Just by the slope with an amazing slope view! Tim and Mari are the most responsible hosted, they provide detailed information and respond very quickly.

The host/company was very responsive to all communication. The actual accommodations were lacking. Stayed for 3 nights, 1st night mini fridge wasn’t getting cold, 1st morning no hot water - the situation was rectified but not enjoyable to wake up to. The fridge didn’t work at all. The host refunded me $25 total… NOT per day I was there with no fridge. $25 doesn’t even cover the food I had to throw out. The tub was clogged due to an event the prior weekend- had to call maintenance. Again taking away from my vacation. All in all, the lodging would be fine if it were better maintained - get rid of the nasty carpet (area rug or 2), new fridge, and fix the hole in the wall by the air conditioning.

Can’t beat this stay. Perfect location. Perfect set up. Great host. 100% will be staying again.
