Great place to stay!
Great location, easy access and good support. We enjoyed it!
Great spot
Tim was a great host and had a lovely place! He was very responsive and gave clear instructions. I highly recommend staying here!
Snowshoe is probably my favorite east coast ski resort. The Mountain Lodge, while outdated in common areas, is very nice from a condo to condo basis and its proximity to the Ball Hooter Lift cant be beat really. Unit 161 had been renovated already and was very nice and more modern than the rest of the building. Layout of the condo works well and we were all comfortable during our stay. The place, location, and our stay was GREAT!! Tim was also EXTREMELY responsive to chats through the app which was great as well!
I have stayed in the building a few times now and Tim’s place is a great 3bd that is close enough to the slopes for an easy indoor walk. Unfortunately ballhooter lift was closed on our first day which made it pretty difficult to get home as mountain lodge is at the top of the mountain. Overall, it is a great place that is an easy true ski in ski out.
Tim was a great host. He was very responsive and easy to work with. He even met us at check in and was willing to give us more recommendations and answer our questions. Highly recommend!
My family had a fantastic Christmas at Tim's place up in Snowshoe. Everything was as described and fit our family of seven well. We loved the location and convenience!
Our stay at 161 Mountain Lodge was great. Perfect location for our purposes (family wedding weekend). The condo was clean, spacious, and fairly well stocked. We would recommend this place!
Condo was very nice and spacious. Tim was very responsive. We will book with him again.
Pros: Very nice 3 bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the living room. Very clean. The living room is very well appointed - comfortable furniture and great A/V . The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked with dishes and cooking gear. Bathrooms were great, with ample towels. The location is also extremely convenient.
Cons: No ventilation in the bedrooms - instead they have windows to the hallway (?). I slept with the living room windows open and the bedroom door open and I was fine; my companions didn't notice so maybe it's me.
Perfect setup for 3 couples and a few young children. Room was well equipped and a short walk to the village. We will definitely stay again.
Had a great time.
Great place to stay with the family.
Great location and spacious!
My husband, son and a few friends needed a place to stay for the night after rolling into Snowshoe late at night. Due to snow and slick roads, most of them didn't arrive until 4:30 am but check in was still a breeze and it was a great place for them to stay. Communication with Tim was great through the entire process!
Spacious, clean and nice upgrades. Couldn’t figure out how to make it cooler in there but I guess that’s not a bad problem to have when its 0 degrees outside.
Great location, great apartment, had everything we needed. Check-in was straightforward and easy. Right at Ballhooter lift, although it was quite a walk internally to get to an exit. We would definitely stay again. Tim also emailed me tons of useful info first when we booked to give us advice on booking equipment, then several days before we arrived with info on getting there, parking, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. all of this really helped us prepare.
I had a great time in the place very easy to communicate with and very professional.
What a great stay! The place was very clean and you can’t beat the location. It’s located right at the top of the ballhooter lift.
Tim was also very responsive and a great host! This place was perfect for our somewhat larger group 8
A great space right by the ballhooter lift
Villa is in a great location, close to the village and other activities. The villa has been remodeled, unlike some of the other units. Large, spacious eating/den area to accommodate people without feeling on top of each other. It was very clean and was fully equipped for extra days of eating and cooking.
This is a perfect setup for 3 couples. It appears to be newly updated. It was clean, comfortable, and a nice new kitchen. The host is very responsive and flexible to my multiple queries. I would stay here again if I were ever back in the area.
Everything you need, nothing you don't. Just the way a group of dudes riding park want it. We've stayed at Mountain Lodge 3 times now and this is by far the nicest unit we've seen. For Mountain bikers, no bikes allowed in the building except in paid lockers. $15/day for a locker and unless you are taking your front wheel off every time, there are only 2 lockers big enough to fit 2 DH bikes. If you have trail bikes and take the front wheels off, you can fit 3 bikes in a smaller locker, which there are about 15 of. Best bet is to use a lock and lock the bikes to your bike rack on your car or on the bike rack outside the building.
This was my second time renting this unit. Just as last time everything was clean, tidy and aesthetically pleasing. Accommodated 3 toddlers (under 2) and 6 adults. Cabinets and drawers are stocked with everything you need to make a meal. Location is perfect and a minutes walk from everything. Will definitely be renting this exact condo again.
Awesome place, very spacious!!
Lots of room.
We are a family with 4 more-or-less adult children; this place was perfect for us. It's clean and comfortable, the kitchen was equipped enough for me to make 2 daily meals for 8 people without missing anything. The beds and linens were comfortable, the foldout couch was workable, and we all had enough towels. The location was perfect, we just had a short walk to the slopes, and the Boathouse/Ballhooter lift brings you practically to the door. The walk to the village area (heavily stocked convenience store, restaurants/bars, ski rental, clothing and gear sales) was short, not bad even in blizzard conditions. The staff were are friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a fancy place to stay, this is not it, but if you need a comfy, clean pad to relax in, I would recommend it.
Although a little dated, the location of this property made going on and off the slopes extremely easy! It was the perfect size for six people. The property manager was very responsive to any questions we had. The front desk staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming.
Convenient to skiing and shopping areas
My only complaints were the condition of the carpets and the heat was unable to be turned on. My children were freezing G on Sunday morning. I understand with all the skiers and mountain bikers the carpet gets quite beat up, but I hesitated walking on it even in my socks.
I know most people are visiting Snowshoe during the ski season but I had to attend a conference in the summer. I chose this listing because of the air conditioning as a lot of units don’t have air-conditioning. The air-conditioning is really just a floor unit that sits in the living room. It does not cool the bedrooms. I was traveling with my 18-month-old daughter who does not sleep well when she gets too warm. Tim responded to my questions promptly but that did not solve the air conditioning problem for me.,
Great condo! Great location! Tim goes above and beyond. Can't wait to visit Snowshoe again.
First of all, Tim was a pleasure to work with. Extremely responsive and made our stay a smooth and enjoyable experience.
We have been staying at Snowshoe since Mountain Lodge was built. The renovations that Tim has done are a perfect update. The location is great and having 3 bedrooms this close to everything is hard to find. Even the mattresses were new and all bedrooms had their own bathroom. The living area is surprisingly large. We found it even better than the layout in some of the Powder Monkey and Whistlepunk condos. Loading is easy because the unit is almost on the end of the building. It is a short walk to the Village and Ballhooter lift. I almost didn't want to write a great review because we don't want this place booked up all the time, so it would be available for us-lol!!! We will definitely rent this condo again and hopefully it will be available. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations Tim!
This condo provided a perfect launching spot for our long weekend at Snowshoe. Plenty of space for the four of us with a decently stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The place was very neat and clean and we would definitely stay here again. The location of Mountain Lodge provided excellent access to the slopes and the lift. Unlike other places we have stayed, the available lockers for skis and snowboards are really large and located right near the door closest to the slopes. I can only think of one negative thing to say about the Lodge. There are strict quiet hours, I believe from 10 PM until 8 AM and at 8:01, it seems like all of the parents release their children into the hallways to run loudly back and forth and this continues at varying degrees throughout the day. The Lodge definitely feels like more of a place for families with kids while other places we have stayed at Snowshoe didn't have this feel.
Thanks!
Great location! Being on the first floor was actually easier than having to take elevator. Very clean & well maintained. The building is old but well kept. We will definitely stay here again. Ski in/ski out is the best & being right beside the village. My only suggestions is take hand towels for the kitchen & bath room.
Great place, we all enjoyed it! Although the two couples that stayed in the front BR's said the hot water heater ran low a couple of times.
We only stayed here one night, but it was a great place! Very spacious for our whole family! I liked that there were 3 bathrooms and the beds were very comfortable!
The room was also very close to a little indoor playground and arcade for the kids! We would stay here again for sure!
The unit was nice and clean, attractive furnishings, and comfortable. We were surprised by Snowshoe, however; even though it was Columbus Day weekend, only one full restaurant and one pizza place were open, and they were jammed on Saturday night, so that was frustrating (we ended up eating leftovers from lunch because our kids weren't up for a 45 min. wait for dinner). The lodge didn't have any information on what was and what wasn't open; it would have been helpful to have that information on their website or, at the least, when we checked in. I recommend checking ahead of time to see what's open, or planning to feed yourself, if you're there when it's not ski season.
Nice condo. Everyone had there own bedroom and bathroom.
Great communication, flexibility, & hospitality!
Great place to stay over the Labor Day holiday! The Mountain Lodge Condos were beautiful and very well maintained! Mr. Tim Wolfe was wonderful to rent from and everyone at the lodge was helpful and attended to anything we needed! Looking forward to next year's visit!

This ML condo is a great value compared to other Snowshoe properties. Close to the Village, very spacious (actually 2 condos made into one). Very clean. It's on the far end of ML from the village, and faces the parking lot, so if you want a view, keep looking. Easy to load your gear over the balcony rail though. We enjoyed it, and would rent it again.
It was what we needed for the weekend.
Spacious and the beds were comfortable.
It was clean and convenient to the shops and restaurants there. It was very quiet.
Could use a little updating. But that didn’t bother us. Would recommend to others.
Unit is spacious. Unit was very clean and beautifully decorated. Just a short walk to snowshoe village. Will definitely contact owner again for future trips in the area. I was very, very happy I rented this location.
Unit 161 Mountain lodge looks like it was actually 2 units, but has been renovated to be a 3 bedroom/3 bath. Lots of room! Loved the short walk to the village, to the market and to the lifts. Very convenient! We actually fed a deer from our hands from the balcony. This unit is nicely decorated, very clean and well maintained. I would definitely rent again.
The condo was very clean and plenty of room for us all. It was a quick walk into the village and located right on the mountain. Tim was great to work with and this was the second time renting from him. I will not hesitate to use him again for my next visit to Snowshoe.
We stayed in #161 ML with our 4 children (9-15yrs. old) Very comfortable beds/ furniture. All 3 bathrooms were upgraded. Very short walk to Ballhooter lift, Split Rock pool and the Village. Kids could go to arcade, play games and sit by the fire in the lobby and even watched a movie on the big screen without leaving the building! Added bonus is that this condo is located away from the masses in a quiet hallway. I would have liked if there was a bigger cooking pot to make meals and a couple large coffee cups. Great stay and we look forward to heading back in the summer for more fun!
Location is what made this place awesome for us. We needed a 3 BR and It was great to ski in/out for lunch and not have to carry ski’s off slopes or have to pay to eat lunch in the village. The place was very clean and comfortable! Kitchen items provided basics for cooking! Owners were very responsive to emails and requests- awesome hospitality!
Would rent from them again!
From the booking process, to the assistance with rentals and lift tickets, this was a great experience. The accomodations were great as well. Superior location and all of the amenities of home. We will be renting through this owner again.
This is a nice cozy comfortable place to stay. We did have challenges cooking as there was limited counterspace in the kitchen I overall a good stay
We Loved our stay! It was 4 adult males. We each had our own room and one of us stayed on the couch. The kitchen was stocked with plates and silverware..a few pots and pans too. Very clean, and looks just as it’s described and pictured.
The location to the slopes and the village are real good. You have to walk all the way thru the building to get to the slopes cause 161 is on the south side and the slopes are on the northern side. It’s not bad but takes about 2 min.
There’s a real nice arcade in the building that we really enjoyed...although one of the pinball machines was out of order...full disclosure, we’re all huge pinball fans and are in a pinball league...yes, they exist. Ok, enough of a side track.
The owner Tim is very responsive. I had several emails to him before we booked and then again when it was time to show up, he responds immediately. Thanks Tim!
Again, we all loved the place and will be planning another trip soon! If you’re thinkin about it, you won’t be disappointed.
We love this property!! This was our second year staying in 161, it’s very convenient to the slopes and the village. Our kids and nephew love the indoor play area especially this visit since the temps were below zero! We couldn’t find a large casserole dish or good size pot in the room to cook some meals we had planned for but housekeeping was able to bring us some so everything worked out great! We all had a wonderful time, the owners make booking very easy as well!
It has been a pleasure to communicate with Timothy. His rooms in mountain lodge are mostly on first floor. Literally you could ski in and ski out. Rooms are clean and beautiful and have various amenities. It would be even better if the beds were king size! (:
I had never been to Snowshoe, WV, but I heard wonderful things about the area. This little mountain lodge was a perfect way to experience the mountains of WV for the first time. While the rooms we stayed in (for the purpose of our stay) were not used in season for skiing recreation, it is still a wonderful place to stay if you’re interested in visiting the area for any number of reasons. I would love to return when the village is open and bustling. The lodge would easily sleep 8 people, and the rest of the living space is perfect for dining and light entertainment. Snowshoe is really one of the prettiest places I’ve been, and I would highly recommend ML161 for myriad purposes if you’re looking to vacation/ get-away here.
I really enjoyed visiting Snowshoe for the first time, and part of the great experience was staying at the Mountain Lodge. It was perfect for what we needed, the owner was quick to respond with helpful suggestions and places to visit while we stayed there. Looking forward to going back again.
L. Richie
My stay was great and house keeping was wonderful also.
The parking was terrible. That needs some help.
But over all we had a wonderful time.
Thanks for the use of the room, see you next year.
This was our first visit to Snowshoe and we are so glad we booked this lodge. We had 8 adults and the condo was a perfect size for us. The Mountain Lodge is obviously one of the older properties on Snowshoe, but that was not bothersome as the condo was well supplied, well taken care of, and in a great location. We did not have to get in our vehicle at all during our 3 day stay. The village (which is just adjacent to the lodge) has ski rental, ski lessons, restaurants, bars, shopping, and a catholic church. We did ride a bus to the nearby Silver Creek area to ride snowmobiles. We had some trouble regulating the heat, but it was in the 60s outside, so we just cracked the sliding glass porch door open to cool off a bit. We visited Snowshoe on their closing weekend. Many restaurants/bars were closed for the season, but we had fun at the ones that were open. I'd highly recommend the condo when staying in the Snowshoe area!
We have stayed at Mtn Lodge for many years and like it's convenience to the slopes and economic price level. This condo was great! It was nice to have three bedrooms. There was plenty of space in the living area. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking for a crowd. The only comment on the downside is the folks that were supposed to sleep on the pull out sofa found it uncomfortable and opted to just sleep on the couches. Maybe a new sleeper sofa mattress is in order. We enjoyed the accommodations. Thank you!!!
The condo is perfect for our large family. We LOVE Snow Shoe, as we do every year. The owner was quick to get back to me regarding questions, friendly and easy to work with. I look forward to renting this unit again net ski season.
We had a wonderful time getting together with friends for a long weekend of skiing. The condo was perfect for our group and having 3 bathrooms with the 3 bedrooms made it easy to shower and get ready for dinner without long waits. The village with plenty of restaurants and a convenience store were just a short walk from the condo so there was no need to drive the car once we were there. Tim was very easy to communicate with and even helped us by going above and beyond to assistance us with some erroneous charges from HomeAway. I would not hesitate to rent from Tim again.
Great place to be and Tim was very prompt with answering any concerns I had. The one and only drawback was the older lady receptionist on our check in date who was not really that accommodating to say the least in spite of being asked politely if some of us could stay and wait in the lobby with our luggage while the rest of us went down the slopes until we could check in. She said "You're not supposed to be here in the first place until check in time." Couldn't believe she said that! We had 3 and 4-day lift tickets and already had half the day gone and only wanted to know if some of us could stay in the lobby to wait for when the room was ready. What did she want for them to do? Freeze outside? We just shrugged off that one incident and enjoyed the rest of our stay. It wouldn't be fair to give the room a lower rating just because of 1 nasty person who needs a review of customer service etiquette! We would definitely think of getting the same room next time. Just hoping we get greeted and treated like a customer.
Mountain Lodge is a great location with easy access to the slopes and the village. Unit 161 is spacious and comfortable. Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly! Can't wait to return!
Perfect location for family ski in/out. Roomy and well maintained despite being older building. Great indoor playground for kids across hallway. Excellent communication with owner. Will be back next year!
This was the perfect room for our family! It was roomy and beds were super comfy! The staff at the lodge were wonderful and very accommodating. The owner was very helpful and gracious in his efforts to help us find great prices on ski rentals and lifts. I will certainly recommend staying here to family and friends and would like to return myself.
Great property - obvious that this used to be two rooms made into one. Might want to put an explanation of all the thermostats so your guests know how to turn the heat up. The first night the main room got really cold - it was fine when we were all in there but once we went to the bedrooms, turned off the electric fireplace which gave a little heat, had curtains closed but it got really cold outside so this room was really cold for the person who slept out there. Once we figured it out, we were fine.
Was well maintained, had plenty of everything so that we could make our own meals. The list of what to bring was very helpful.
Internet connection was a little hit and miss and we had to change which connection we were using after 30 minutes when watching a Netflix movie but we figured it out.
We cooked all our own meals and brought a lot of food from home but the rest we purchased on our way in and were set for our trip. You were correct, the local store we found to be up to 4 X the price of things we bought down the mountain.
We took the bus to get our ski rentals but then didn't have a place to stow our shoes so ended up going back to condo to dump our shoes/boots. But very glad for the discounts you supplied and equiptment was top notch!!!
As far as the bus system - the one night we wanted to go to Silver Creek, we went to the stop and found people who had been waiting 1/2 hour already and there were 53 people waiting to get on the bus so we ended up going back to the condo as we knew the bus wouldn't hold that many. Next night they had more buses running. Having the ski/snowboard holders outside the bus was VERY appreciated!
The back entrance and side entrance to the lodge could have had more salt applied - we had one person fall on the ice, but several of us slipped and that was even being aware of the slippery conditions under our feet/boots.
Overall we would stay here again.
This place was perfect! It was one of the largest we could find with ski in/ski out access and it allowed three couples to have separate rooms/bathrooms AND a spacious (and clean) common area during the down times. The owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We'd definitely recommend staying here and plan on coming back!
You have a very nice condo, particularly the large "great" room. The overall Mountain Lodge accommodations were good and so very convenient to the village. we would definitely consider your condo again.

Snow conditions were much better than expected due to the recent rain and warm weather; Snowshoe had done a excellent job in preparing their slopes for the holidays.
This room is so comfortable and it is fully stocked. Located right off the Ballhooter lift...you can go back to the room, rest, eat, and hit the slopes again! It's the only place we want to stay when we go to Snowshoe.
Came to Snowshoe with two families - each with 2 kids (7 & 11) at it was the right amount of space. Having two master bedrooms is nice and avoids bathroom wait times. Property is less than a football field to the village and we especially liked having the arcade and play set indoors to entertain the kids between outings. Lastly, Tim was very responsive and easy to work with. I would stay here again.
We loved our stay. It snowed the entire two days we skied. The condo was very convenient and satisfactory. The only weird glitch was the the living area TV would not pick up channel 17, CBS so we had to watch the Superbowl in one of the bedrooms. All other channels were fine. The front desk said several other rooms had commented upon the same problem. Love the boot warmers.
We have been staying at Mountain Lodge since 2002 and this unit is by far our favorite! We had 6 adults and 2 kids, this unit fit us perfectly! We loved spacious living and dining area and the openness of the unit. The kids loved being right by the play area and arcade. We will definitely stay in this unit again, the owner is great and easy to work with too!!
Anyone who is reading this review should know one thing. Tim is the best person to rent from because he is absolutely trustworthy. This was my first experience renting through VRBO and I had to be coerced by my friends to rent this way. I was really worried about the cancellation policies. Well, Snowshoe mountain basically had to shut down the slopes over New Years because of lack of snow. Instead of finding out when I got to the mountain and being frustrated because of a less than perfect trip, Tim reached out to my family on his own and and offered to cancel the reservation with a Full refund. In today's age that is something special. We look forward to the opportunity to use VRBO and Tim in particular to rent one of his properties. Thanks Tim for all the help.
We were scheduled to rent Tim's place after Christmas and were very excited because we have stayed at Mountain Lodge before and loved it. During the months before our trip, Tim had been very attentive in sending us updates and offers at the mountain. HOWEVER, mother nature intervened and there was no snow due to record high temperatures. Tim kindly reached out to us and allowed us to cancel. Thank you very much, Tim!
We had a four month old infant in our party and this 3BR was perfect for our needs. My daughter could use one of the master suites to setup the crib, etc and the baby could sleep in peace and quiet.
Mountain lodge is an excellent location, too, being close to the village area.
I would rent this unit again, if the need of unit that big is needed, and it was easy to work with Tim
Loved riding the highways leaving Snowshoe Mtn. Had 3 couples with 3 vehicles and trailers with motorcycles and the parking was excellent. The condo worked out great as we each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms and were able to sit around the table and plan our next days ride.
There were no hand towels in the bathrooms but housekeeping was kind enough to leave extra bath towels. Also, restaurants in the Village did not post correct dates & times they were open. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much!
we enjoyed staying in your rental. My husband, who NEVER likes to travel, said he would stay there again,.........and that says it ALL!!!!!!!!! He liked it very much. thank you!
We made a hasty decision to make one last trip to snowshoe and found this condo. Tim helped to get it reserved quickly, and it was just as described when we got there. Plenty of room, kind office staff, and a great visit overall. It was very rainy the first day, but the room was large enough for the 8 of us to hang around comfortably.
Five of us (all adults) stayed here for a weekend getaway, and had a wonderful time. Everything in the unit was as described. Ended up raining most of Saturday, so having so much space to lounge around was very nice. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably, too, with room to spare. Just a quick walk to the slopes and anywhere in the Village. Look forward to staying here again!
Upon arrival, we did have some issues with getting access to our room; however, Tim immediately corrected the issues and made sure we were able to check in! The room was amazing! We had so much room in comparison to our visit with another room (not Tim's), last year. We were definitely pleased! Our 3 bedroom had absolutely everything we needed & more! We had an amazing time at the lodge, snowboarding and in the village. Leave it to us to visit at a time that our trip was going to end with a Blizzard! The most snow that Snowshoe has seen in YEARS! I think we got 5 feet in 24 hours! Needless to say, when we checked out, we were stranded. We were unable to get off the mountain as ongoing and incoming traffic was closed, due to the weather. Not only were we unable to get off the mountain, the ENTIRE mountain was booked! Tim went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of, even after we checked out of his unit. All 7 of his units were booked but he still took the time to check with other homeowner's to see if they could help us! It all worked out in the end and we were able to get a room for the night! We will definitely be renting from Tim, again & look forward to next year!
Thanks for everything!
This was a great, affordable place to stay with great convenience to the slopes and village.
This condo was perfect for our party of 6. We appreciated the space in the living area and that the condo owners clearly tried to keep the property updated.
We were here for the MLK weekend and we had a great time staying at this condo. This was a very good location and the accomodations overall were very good. Our party included two families with kids (4 and 7) and my Dad who is nearly 80 years old (who did not ski but wanted to spend time with the family and watch the grandchildren in the beginner area). It was the perfect rental for this purpose being on the 1st floor and in ski in / ski out location. Everything was as advertised. We had 8 total planning to stay and fit well in the condo. Thanks for a great vacation!!!

This has been the forth time coming to Snowshoe and this is the second time we have rented from Tim and it has been a great experience both times in his 2 bedroom condo & this time in his 3 bedroom condo. We had seven adults and had plenty of room for everyone in every aspect of the condo. Very nice location on the 1st floor with no stairs. Great ski in/out location. Had a wonderful time and we will be back again!
This was my first rental from Tim and it was a great experience. The condo is very spacious and well appointed. There were 4 adults and 5 children and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and spread out after a long day of skiing. Nice location being ski in/out and a few minute walk to the village. Had a great time and we'll be back again!
We love going to Snowshoe in the summer but its hard to find places at the right price for a medium sized group of people. This place was perfect for the price and size. With 3 large bedrooms and couches and a large dining area we never felt cramped. The owner provided us with a portable AC unit due to the heat during the day but it was very cool at night so there wasn't much of an issue in regards to feeling comfortable. The kitchen had more than enough supplies for us to make large meals. If you choose to stay here and need any additional help / or have any questions the owner is very quick to respond and is very kind! - We will definitely stay here again!
We had a GREAT TIME! Your 3 bed/3 bath condo was the nicest and cheapest we ever stayed in since we have been coming to Snowshoe & ML since 2000. We loved the fact you took a 2 bed & 1 bed and opened it up to make a 3 bed; it really opened up the living room & dinning room which was much needed when you had 3 families like we did!! The ML staff were very nice & replenished our towels, kitchen trash bags, soap etc every day! We will for sure be booking again with you next year!
We certainly enjoyed our stay! The location is ideal and the condo is well appointed and spacious enough for the six of us--we actually had room for more. We would have loved to have stayed longer, but it was a holiday weekend and all other days were booked. Parking was easy and the staff at the lodge were very accommodating. The condo owner was also very accommodating and helpful. I would recommend this unit to families with young children or teenagers.
This is the largest unit in Mountain Lodge and very spacious for 3 couples. Large screen TV was great for watching the Super Bowl. Electric fireplace-heater provides ambience and warmth in living room. Large dining table perfect for meals and games. Wonderful fireplace in lobby. Walk out to Ball Hooter Lift.
This was my second year renting from Tim at the Mountain Lodge. He is very nice, easy to work with and has the best rates in town! We had 7 people and needed something a little bigger, this was perfect. Great place with 2 master suites, 3rd room, a separate 3rd bath. It is ski in/out, right outside of Ballhooter! Also, a 2 minute walk to the village with restaurants and shops. 🙂
Great 3br condo in fabulous condition!! Would highly recommend!!!
We had several issues with the condo while we were there. The heaters did not work properly in all locations. We needed to call the maintenance staff to have them fixed. The sliding glass door in the family room allowed snow to blow in even though it was closed. Not all channels on the family room TV worked so we were not able to watch the football game without going into the bedroom.
While the condo was a great location, the building and condo were out of date.
Overall a great experience. The place was nice and clean. The owner was very friendly and quick to answer all my questions. Location was amazing, accommodation were great, staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The only negatives (which were minor) were it was on the other side of the village from ski school so walking with the small kids only a few minutes just took longer than it should. Overall a GREAT location right in the middle of everything. There is a very cool indoor playground right in front of the room which was ideal for the small kids. There were teenagers that were loud after 9pm on the playground and we had to call security two times, but was resolved very quickly. Also, don't eat at Pasta's in the building. It is worth walking across the street for better food, better service, and better value. Overall a great vacation, and I would definitely stay there again.
Photo's are accurate and the unit is super nice. Well maintained. There are plenty of dishes and just about everything you need for your stay. We requested a few extra towels and some dishwashing soap and the staff promptly brought them. Bathrooms and bedding are all very nice and clean. Owner is great to rent from and will go out of his way to answer questions and assist with any rental and or area questions. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. Village is steps away and the Mountain Lodge itself is a nice convenient and clean place. We also stayed there once in the winter (different unit) but both at the Lodge. Mountain Lodge reminds me of a dorm with the hallways and windows but once you get to your unit you will be pleasantly surprises. When its cold you..you'll appreciate the fact that you are inside a hallway. We plan to rent again.
