- Due to the steep driveway, AWD or winter tires are strongly recommended during winter months to ensure safe, reliable traction.
- A hot tub cleaning fee is included in the housekeeping fee. Stays of five nights or longer require an additional mid-stay hot tub cleaning for $85 plus tax. Airbnb Guests will receive a separate payment request for this service.
- This property has a camera by the front door for security purposes.
- Please bring your own beach towels for hot tub use.
- Hit the slopes! The nearest ski trail is just 100 yards away.
- The nightlife on the mountain or at a local restaurant, but no parties or gatherings with anyone outside your registered group are permitted at the home.
THE RESORT:
At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find an activity to keep all your family members happy.
- Winter: With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and 5 terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, try out other activities such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, off-road 4-wheeler tours, snowmobile tours, and horse-drawn sleigh rides, to name just a few.
- Summer: Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails waiting for you to conquer. Other activities include cross-country cycling, hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay pigeon shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, disc golf, fishing, and relaxing on the soft, sandy beach on the shore of Shavers Lake.

EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note we cannot guarantee anything earlier than a 5:00 PM check-in.
LATE CHECK-OUT: Unfortunately, these are not possible, since our cleaning team needs every available minute to clean and reset this huge house (to include draining and refilling the hot tub). If you’d like a late checkout so you can enjoy all the mountain has to offer, we’re happy to book you for another night, if the property is available.
